Philpan

Phil Di Grazia, also known as Philpan, is an accomplished Italian musician, producer, DJ and vocalist. He began his musical journey at the age of 9 by playing drums, which subsequently led him to choose percussion as his primary instrument during his 5 years of music high school. At the age of 10, he discovered music production and started using FL Studio, which has been his primary software ever since.

 

Throughout his youth, Phil has been a creative individual, writing a book composed of 10 chapters that tells different adventures between him and his group of friends. Additionally, he has written countless poems and later transitioned to writing rap verses and producing instrumentals for his first pieces.

 

During Middle School, Phil presented various musical pieces for timpani, snare, vibraphone, xylophone, and marimba. However, he eventually chose percussion as his primary instrument and piano as his secondary.

 

In search of a stage name, he decided to call himself Philpan. Over the years, his music has been influenced by his growing hatred towards the suffering of society, leading him to split his music into three personalities: Philpan, Kooja, and Kevin. Each personality has a distinct behaviour that influences the themes of his texts and productions.

 

Three years ago, he discovered a newfound love for DJing and performed genres such as rap and techno. Recently, he has focused on producing rap beats and writing raps, resulting in the release of his EP "Trenches on Trap" which was entirely produced and written by him.

 

In 2021, Phil decided to pursue his dreams and move to London to study at Point Blank Music School. This opportunity allowed him to expand his musical talent, network with new people, and learn English.
